Like "There was brief information on this very thing in the SD Health Dept. Diabetes Newsletter I received recently, but here is all that it says: "American Diabetes Alert Day An estimated 39,300 adult South Dakotans have diagnosed diabetes and an additional 16,900 South Dakotans have diabetes but do not know it. Tuesday, March 24, 2009 is the 21st annual American Diabetes Alert Day. This day is intended to inform the public about the seriousness of diabetes. We encourage South Dakotans to take the Diabetes Risk Test and find out if they, or their loved ones, are at risk for developing type 2 diabetes." I will do some further research throughout their website and see if I can find more information as to what to do or wear or whatever on this day."
