Like "No, I have never had hypoglycemia. 30 to 40 grams of carbs a day is enough to prevent that. My carbs are slow acting from veggies like spinach, broccoli, cabbage, peppers and other non-starchy veggies. This is a slow, stead release of glucose in my blood that my body can keep up with and will sustain me till the next meal 5 to 6 hours later. I do check my sugar closely and carry glucose tablets just in case. Never used them other then to test how much they raise my sugar so I know the correct dosage."
