Like "Carbs Carbs Carbs...become hyper-aware of the carb content of the food you eat since carbs are the major factor in blood glucose. Read all the labels and get a guide for those items without labels. Determine how many carbs you are currently eating per day and try to reduce them...you should see an improvement in your BG's. It's never easy and does demand some effort but the results are worth it. Each person has differing needs. I try to limit myself to no more than 120 grams of carb per day. My last A1c was 6.7.
