Like "I was diagnosed when I was 47 also. It was not a shock to me, but I do understand your feeling of being overwhelmed. Ask lots of questions, try things, read and research. You are going to be your own advocate and while it is kind of consuming in the beginning, it will get easier as you figure a few things out. You do a lot of things and while that can be a blessing, don't let it stop you from taking care of yourself. Trust me, I have done that. I put everyone else first and it doesn't really work well that way. I am learning to take care of myself so I can be there to do things for those I love around me. Welcome to the community.
