Like "Hi Miss Camry; "Exercise" is great but it's "physical activity" is the concept behind what's needed to make a difference in our health and well-being. I'm sure walking was a physical activity before it became and exercise. Agree? Walking is great and you should continue to do it whenever you're able. 3-5 minute bouts of simple physical activity over the course of a day @ 2-3 days a week adds up. Do whatever you can and build upon it. It gets easier and you feel so much better as time goes. I'm new in the group and haven't read the rules yet. I'm not sure if I should drops names and/or links for exercise sites, so I'll have to get back to you. But remember, even doing your daily chores is "exercise." I've heard that in areas of the world where people live the longest lives they hardly exercise regularly, they just do what they have to do a a daily basis. Maybe you have some type of area to grow vegetables. You could tend to your vegetables have great meals AND be physically active; that would be ideal. I eat as much leafy green vegetables as I can--kale, collards and broccoli--sweet potatoes and lots of beans. I'm learning to try different grains (millet and polenta are reasonable) but it's mostly brown rice with my beans. When cooking, it's good to make enough for leftovers. That saves time and money. "
