I've read the positive effects of exercise can last about 48 hours in regards to your body being more receptive to insulin for T1. Obviously there are a lot of awesome mental benefits to getting outside. So you don't have to do it EVERY day. If walking a few days a week is an achievable goal for you start with that and maybe incorporate something like swimming later on. From my own experience I know after a few days it gets easier and pretty soon you won't want to miss a day of exercise."
