Like "When you have run with high blood sugar for a period of time, your body gets used to those highs. Then when you get to more "normal" levels, your body "thinks" it is going hypoglycemic. As your body adjusts to those new levels over time, you will not get that sick, shakey feeling untill your levels drop even lower. It is just a matter of time for the adjustments to balance out. I eat 5 or 6 small meals a day, and this has helped me in several ways. First, no more hunger pains, next, no "stuffed" feelings, and lastly, my levels seem to be more consistant and I do not have such wide ranges of ups and downs. I hope this helped. John"
