Like "Mimi, there are some people who refuse to take care of themselves. I use to be an EMT. We got a call for 55 yr old man behind a building who worked for a store next to a pharmacy cleaning up. He was pain in cash and he was suppose to go to the pharmacy to pick up his prescription. Instead he bought Heroin. We found him behind the building with the needle in his arm nearly dead. The pharmacist said he refused to take care of his diabetes. Two months later I ran into a medic who asked me if I remembered the man. He told me this man had a leg removed. Walked left the rehab center against medical advice and was found in the same spot we found him with a needle in his arm. He was dead. People have priorities and too often health isn't that priority.
