He fusses at me for anything over 9 (and I have had some 15s, so 14 was a step in teh right direction but not good by anny standard. 6-7 means most of your sugars are staying closer to teh target range of 100 to 120. (My mom was a diabetic counsleor, so whenever I get an A1C back I call her and she gives me a good job kid or a what can we do to help get it down talk LOL) Maybe check with your doc/specific lab and see their scale? When I have labs done its all about scales. I have one test where the values change AM vs PM- 25 is high in teh AM, 12 is high in teh PM. Its all about perspective."
