Like "UPDATE: Well I went to Diabetes School today and it was exactly what I thought it would be. SNORE!! LOL I graduated so I don't have to go back for the other two classes. They were teaching carb counting and said to ignore the glycemic index because it wasn't good. of course I spoke up. . Now you know why I didn't want to go, I wanted to run. I guess we are all entitled to our opinions. There were only 2 of us in the class and the other guy felt the same way. I told them about using cinnamon capsules and my apple cider vinegar "cocktail" and they didn't know anything about it and said they'd have to research it. Since I've been using these unconventional things my blood sugar 2 hours after meals is the same as before meals and my blood pressure today was 110/62 and that was at the hospital!!. We had to do a blood test to show them we knew how and mine was 99.. There has to be a connection as I'm sure you'd all agree. Anyway, education is wonderful for newly diagnosed people and I encourage anyone that has questions or concerns to go if it's offered but to send someone like me who's been dealing with this on a daily basis for almost 7 years back to square one was ridiculous. We discuss these things here everyday. I told them I belong to this group and that we bounce things off of one another daily and that we have Toma for our scientific research.. and they were a little intimidated I think so they graduated me!! LOL. Thank you all for your support and kind words. I'm free!!! "
