Like "When first diagnosed I ate about 2 quarts of sliced dill pickles a week. I even drank the juice out of the jar when the pickles were gone. My A1C went from 14.1 to 5.9 in about 4 months. My blood sugar readings went from the 300 plus to almost normal numbers in about 6 weeks. I also was eating broccoli and or cauliflower everyday along with coleslaw made without sugar. After several months I started to use splenda in the coleslaw and it made it taste a lot better. I also started to drink at least 8 glasses of water and started to eat a salad with my supper every day. At first I only ate chicken breast or fish but now eat beef and pork in limited amounts and meat doesn’t spike your blood sugar. Just keep serving sizes to 2-4 oz. Good luck Kevin "
