When you start to introduce fruits to your diet, keep close as you can to the carb serving and test your levels after you eat it. Make notes as to if you included some protein or fat with your fruit and see how it treats your levels. This will give you an idea about what fruits your body and tolerate. Also, if you are on any type of blood pressure meds, check with your doctor about eating grapefruit. It reacts to your meds and decreases their effectiveness."
