Granny Smith Pork

Ingredients
  • 1 teaspoon oil, canola

  • 1 1/2 pounds pork, lean boneless, cut into 1/2-inch cubes

  • 4 medium apple(s), Granny Smith, cored and sliced into 1/2-inch wedges

  • 1 cup(s) wine, dry white

  • 2 tablespoon sugar, brown

  • 1/4 cup(s) vinegar, cider

  • 3 tablespoon cornstarch

  • 2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 dash(es) salt and black pepper, to taste

Directions
  1. Heat the oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pork and brown on all sides. Add the pork and brown on all sides. Add the apple slices and saute for 3 minutes. Add 1/2 cup of the wine, reduce the heat, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes

  2. Mix the other 1/2 cup of wine together with the remaining ingredients and add to the skillet. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens
