Spicy Tomato Juice
2 cans red kidney beans
Remove casings from 1 pkg turkey Italian sausage links;crumble in dutch oven (5 qt size),cook sausage and 2 med onions,chopped, on medium 8 min until onions soften. Stir in 1 and 1/2 tbsp chili powder,cook 2 minutes and then add 4 cups spicy tomato juice,heat to boiling. Simmer,ncovered on low 15 min and then stir in the two cans of drained kidney beans;heat through. Serves 6
- the tomatoe juice for just 8 ounces delivers not one but two servings of vegetables!
