Strawberry Jello Salad

This treat has a hidden protein punch- cottage cheese!

Strawberry Jello Salad
  • 8 oz container of low fat Cool Whip

  • 4 oz box of Strawberry Jello -

  • 12 oz container of fat free Cottage Cheese

  • 1/2 pound of Strawberries, sliced

  • 1 Banana, sliced

  1. Put the cool whip and (dry) jello in a large mixing bowl and whisk until they are well blended and most of the jello dissolves into the cool whip. Next fold in the cottage cheese, strawberries and bananas. Stick into the refrigerator until you are ready to eat!

Oooo, very tasty! Might add walnuts next time I make. I used sugar free jello and added sliced almonds this time. Happy to have found this.

Sounds like something I would eat, but I would whip the cottage cheese first, don't like lumpy stuff in my desserts.

How clever you are Suecsdy! Sounds like, if they make a Jello flavor for it, you can make anything work in this desert.

One of my favorite salads, but I don't bother with the fat free stuff. The only concession I make these days is sugar free jello…and you can mix up the fruit and jello, any flavors that are compatible. I've even put frozen peaches in the Ninja and added them with sf peach jello.
