Cucumber Mint Infused Water

A delicious, crisp drink that hits the spot without the empty calories.

Cucumber Mint Infused Water
  • 8 cups tap water

  • 1 cup sliced cucumber with peel

  • 6 mint leaves

  1. Put water into your container, then add cucumber in mint. Let stay in your refrigerator for at least 2 hours but flavor will be better if fixed and let stay overnight.

SilverLady91 Here you go. 3 cups water, 1/3 cucumber with peel, sliced and added to container, 2 mint leaves added to container. Three servings, zero everything and only 2 mg sodium if that. Same for calories, maybe 2 and most likely none unless you eat the cucumber slices later.

I have also added 1 lemon sliced up into the mix and let set over night so the next morning I would have a refreshing drink all day long!

I have not tried it, but it sounds great as all recipes do. However, I am wondering why the servings are so large. I wish there was a way to adjust the ingredients from a serving for 8 down to a serving of 2-3. I would love to see smaller portions listed. Some sites have an ingredient adjustment icon and it works great.

I didn't rate the recipe because I haven't tried it yet. My concern is that most cucumbers in the stores are waxed so I would not use an unpeeled cuke in any food or beverage
