Simple Guacamole
By aleahk
Sometimes simple recipes are the best. This is a great low carb dip to bring to any party!

-
5 avocados - peeled, pitted, and mashed
-
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
-
3/4 cup minced green onion
-
1/2 cup minced fresh cilantro
-
salt and pepper, to taste
Stir together the avocado and lemon juice in a serving bowl; add the green onion and cilantro; mix well. Season with salt and pepper. Serve immediately or store covered in refrigerator with avocado pits in the bowl to keep from browning.

I add in some diced hot peppers and cilantro for a little more spice.
I always squeeze limes in to reduce darkening. What is wrong with the traditional peppers, onion and tomato. I could eat this with a spoon (or shovel).
Don't forget to add a little lemon, so your dip doesn't turn brown in color
Great to dip veggies in
