Feta and Herb Dip

Looking for something different to stuff in your celery or put on a seed cracker? Try this flavorful bit of yummy. I drizzle a little extra virgin olive oil over it and it's divine. This is adapted from the recipe on Real Meal Revolution.

Feta and Herb Dip
Ingredients
  • 4 oz cream cheese, room temperature

  • 2 oz feta cheese, room temperature

  • 1/2 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped

  • 1/2 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh lemon zest

  • 1 small clove garlic, peeled and minced

  • salt and pepper to taste

  • Drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, optional

Directions
  1. Place all ingredients (except olive oil if using) in a food processor or blender and blend until combined and smooth. If you don't have a blender, just cream it all together in a bowl with a fork.

  2. Place in a serving dish and serve at room temperature for best spreading. Drizzle with olive oil and garnish with fresh cracked pepper or herbs.

  3. Store in an air tight container in the fridge for up to a week.

  4. Time Saving Tip: If you don't have everything you need, try a flavored feta cheese such as tomato and basil or garlic and herb.
