Coffee Milkshake

By aleahk

Makes one large or two small cold icy treats for coffee lovers, flavored with sugarfree creamer.

Coffee Milkshake
  • 7-8 frozen coffee ice cubes

  • 1/2 cup 2% milk (or almond milk)

  • 2 T liquid Sugarfree Coffeemate creamer, hazelnut flavor

  1. ADVANCE PREP: freeze a cup of black coffee in an ice cube tray to make 7 or 8 cubes if you don't normally freeze up your leftover brewed coffee.

  2. Put all ingredients in blender. Blend until cubes are chopped up into tiny bits and drink has the texture of a milkshake.

  3. Makes about 20 ounces, so it serves 2, if you care to share.

  4. Adjust calories if you use nonfat or 1% milk, add sweetener, or other tweaks. I like to add a half teaspoon of dry, instant coffee to make it stronger.

Better taste and mouthful, and fewer carbs, if you replace:

1. low-fat milk with real cream and unsweetened almond milk and
2. coffeemaker with liquid sucralose or liquid stevie blend.
