Apple Pork Roast

Apples, vegetables, and fresh rosemary come together to make this tender pork roast a family favorite.

Apple Pork Roast
  • 3 lb. pork roast

  • 2 Granny Smith apples, cored and cut into large chunks

  • 4 large carrots, diced in large chunks

  • 1 medium yellow onion, chopped

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 1 sprig of fresh rosemary

  • Salt and pepper to taste (salt optional)

  1. Toss apples with lemon juice.

  2. Place half of the chopped carrots and onions in the slow cooker. Top with roast, apples, and remaining onions and carrots. Season with pepper and salt if you choose. Place the sprig of Rosemary on the roast.

  3. Cook on low 7 to 8 hours.

Excellent! Very moist and tasty. Love the carrots too. Definitely a keeper in my recipe list.
