Slow-Cooker Honey-Garlic Chicken and Veggies

This meal is great for weeknights! Simply turn on the crockpot before you leave for work and come home with dinner already prepared.

Slow-Cooker Honey-Garlic Chicken and Veggies
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts

  • 16 oz. trimmed green beans

  • 16 oz. baby carrots

  • 1/3 cup honey

  • 1/4 cup reduced sodium soy sauce

  • 2 TBSP ketchup

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp dried basil

  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano

  • 1/4 tsp pepper

  • Generous pinch of red pepper flakes

  • 2 TBSP chopped fresh parsley

  1. In a small bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, garlic and dried seasonings.

  2. Place carrots, green beans and chicken in the slow cooker. Top with sauce mixture.

  3. Cook on low for 7-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours. Top with chopped fresh parsley before serving.

Super yummy! I didn't have time for the crock pot so I put it on 425 in the oven and baked for 1 hour
