Pumpkin Hummus

I enjoy this dip warmed up in the microwave for 20 seconds before eating.

Pumpkin Hummus
Ingredients
  • 1-2 cups drained and rinsed chickpeas

  • 1.5 cups cooked pumpkin

  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed

  • 1-2 tsp sesame oil (or 2 Tbsp sesame seeds)

  • Juice of 2 lemons

  • pinch cayenne or chilli powder

  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions
  1. Pulse all ingredients together in a food processor adding water or chicken stock to form a smooth, creamy textured dip. Adjust seasonings to taste.
