Almond And Vinegar Green Beans

  • 4 oz fresh green beans

  • 1 cooking spray

  • 1 medium shallots , minced

  • 1 1/2 tbsp balsamic vinegar

  • 1/2 tsp sliced almonds

  1. Boil water in a medium saucepan. Cook the beans in the boiling water for approximately 3 minutes. Drain and rinse under cold water.

  2. Spray a nonstick skillet with the cooking spray. Sauté the shallot for 2 minutes over low heat. Increase the heat to medium, add the green beans, and cook for 2 minutes, stirring often.

  3. Add the vinegar and cook for 30 seconds, then add the almonds. Toss to mix.
