Cream Topping and Filling

  • 1 envelope unflavored gelatin

  • 3/4 cup skim powder milk

  • 1/4 cup Splenda artificial sweetener

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 teaspoon maple, orange or peppermint extract

  • 2 teaspoons vegetable oil

  • 1 egg white stiffly beaten

  1. In a medium bowl, sprinkle the gelatin over 1/4 cup cold water and allow it to soften for 5 minuets. Add 1 cup of boiling water and stir well until the gelatin is dissolved. Cool 5 minuets. Stir the powdered milk and the splenda into gelatin mixture until completely dissolved.

  2. Refrigerate until partially set. Using beaters, beat at high speed until stiff peaks form.

  3. Beat in the vanilla extract, additional flavoring and vegetable oil. Using a spatula, gently fold in the stiffly beaten egg whites until thoroughly combined.

I forgot to add the title to the recipe that I just added it is Crean topping and filling. A great topping of filling for any of your upcoming hoilday desserts.
