Lemon-Parm Popcorn

Perk up your popcorn with a bit of lemon pepper and Parmesan cheese.

 Lemon-Parm Popcorn
Ingredients
  • Total Time: 5 minutes (not including popcorn-popping time)

  • 2 teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil

  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon pepper

  • Pinch of salt

  • 3 cups air-popped popcorn

  • 1 tablespoon freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Directions
  1. 2 servings, 1 1/2 cups each

  2. Whisk oil, lemon pepper and salt in a small bowl. Drizzle over popcorn and toss to coat. Sprinkle with Parmesan and serve immediately.

i might try adding lemon pepper-i make air popped popcorn a lot-but i dont use butter-i spray the popped corn with olive oil spray (pam) and then sprinkle 1 tbs sea salt- i have used parmesan-its delicious-and by spraying it and not drizzling oil i can double the portions and still cut calories

Why air popped? It tastes like cardboard. I use regular oil or coconut oil. The carbs are the same. Add a little melted butter and sprinkle with whatever flavoring. I like Truvia…1/2 packet. It's my only treat.
