Zesty Turkey Chili

This recipe comes together in under 30 minutes. Plus when you use lean turkey and fat-free chicken broth, you get a tasty dish with only 3 grams of fat!

Zesty Turkey Chili
Ingredients
  • 1 large onion, chopped

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 tsp vegetable oil

  • 1 can (4 oz) chopped green chilies

  • 2 tsp ground cumin

  • 1-1/2 tsp dried oregano

  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves

  • 1/8 tsp hot pepper sauce

  • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper

  • 2 cans (15.5 oz each) great northern beans, rinsed and drained

  • 3 cups reduced-sodium fat-free chicken broth

  • 3 cups cubed, cooked turkey breast

Directions
  1. In a large saucepan, saute the onion and garlic in oil for about 5 minutes. Add chilies and seasonings; cook and stir 3 minutes. Stir in beans, broth and turkey; simmer for 15 minutes.
