Homestyle Meat Loaf

  • 16 ozs ground 90% lean turkey or beef

  • 1/2 cup plus 1 tbsp (2.25 ozs) dried fine bread crumbs

  • 1/2 cup finely chopped celery

  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion

  • 2 tsps dried parsley flakes

  • 2 tbsps Heinz Light Harvest Ketchup or any reduced-sodium ketchup

  • 12 oz jar Heinz Fat-Free Beef Gravy

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9- by 5-inch loaf pan with butter-flavored cooking spray. In a large bowl, combine meat, bread crumbs, celery, onion, parsley flakes, ketchup and 1/4 cup beef gravy. Mix well to combine. Pat mixture into prepared loaf pan. Bake for 45 minutes. Evenly spoon remaining gravy over meat loaf. Continue baking for 10 or 15 minutes. Place loaf pan on a wire rack and let set for 5 minutes. Divide into 6 servings. Serves 6.

My mother used to make meat loaf but added two eggs. I didn't know that you could make it without them, this is great because I don't need the extra big C.
