Citrus Cucumber Water

Naturally flavored with citrus and cucumber, this water is nothing short of divine. The carbohydrate count includes the fruits and cucumber.

Citrus Cucumber Water
  • 1 large lemon, sliced

  • 1 large lime, sliced

  • 1 large orange, sliced

  • 1 large cucumber, sliced

  • 1 half-gallon of water

  1. Place all the sliced fruits and the cucumber in a glass pitcher and add water. Refrigerate for two hours to allow flavors to infuse, then serve in glasses over ice.

I will have to go to the store this weekend and get some stoff fm the store as its to cold out side to go any were thank you so much for the flowers as they are so pretty im new to all this so please bear with me , im also not a very good speller as I did not have much schooling as a child when living in Oakland California I have been in iowa for 34 yrs now and this is my home I take onglaza I pill a day I have to watch my diet and still loosing weight im having problyms with my stomic and are having test done again I have a web in my asogoffs and 2 spots that are very narrow for food to pass loosing so much weight im 58 and noe weigh 130

Don't use volume in recipes, only use weights! Especially when citrus is concerned as there is much variation in size.

I've been drinking that every day if the uc was a typo and stands for cucumber (1 lemon, 1/2 cucumber, 1" ginger root, and 10 mint leaves. I love it and think it makes the water taste really good (cool and smooth). What do you think of it? Have you tried it yet?

I don't use the orange or lemon. I'm a lime/cucumber lady. At my local Mexican grocery, I get limes and cucumbers very inexpensively so I drink this type of taste infused water all day long. I add a large variety of other herbs and spices to change it up a bit like ginger, fenugreek, cilantro leaves, various mints, even a little ground black pepper is to my liking. I know, weird.

There's a similar recipe in the book called Fat Flush Plan. With 1 lemon thinly sliced, I uc thinly sliced, 1 inch sliced ginger and mint leaves. Needs refrigerated overnight. Water may be added once but flavor will be weaker. It's very delicious and the lemon is very good for your liver and kidneys.
