A bit of olive oil, a little Parmesan cheese and garlic and pepper … that’s all it takes to turn ordinary green beans into something special!Ingredients
1 lb. green beans, trimmed
1T. Olive oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/8 t. pepper
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
Place green beans in a large pot of boiling water. Blanch for 5 to 6 minutes. Drain. and set aside.
In a large skillet heat oil over medium heat, add garlic and saute until soft.
Add green beans and pepper, saute for 3 minutes. sprinkle with cheese and serve.
Serving size is 1/2 cup.
