These apple rings are a quick and tasty treat!Ingredients
2 T. light butter
1 T. light brown sugar
3/4 t. ground cinnamon
3 Large apples, peeled, cored, and cut into 1/2 inch thick rings
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
In a large skillet, melt butter over medium-low heat; add the brown sugar and cinnamon, stir until blended.
Add apple rings; toss gently to coat. Cover and cook over low heat for 10 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Sprinkle with chopped walnuts and serve.
one serving is 1/2 cup.
