Cinnamon-Sugar Apple Rings

These apple rings are a quick and tasty treat!

Cinnamon-Sugar Apple Rings
Ingredients
  • 2 T. light butter

  • 1 T. light brown sugar

  • 3/4 t. ground cinnamon

  • 3 Large apples, peeled, cored, and cut into 1/2 inch thick rings

  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts

Directions
  1. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium-low heat; add the brown sugar and cinnamon, stir until blended.

  2. Add apple rings; toss gently to coat. Cover and cook over low heat for 10 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  3. Sprinkle with chopped walnuts and serve.

  4. one serving is 1/2 cup.

The photograph doesn't match the recipe at all. I don't understand why they think a photograph of a different recipe is better than no picture at all.
