1lb asparagus, trimmed
1 garlic clove; minced
1/2 tsp grated lemon rind
1/2 tsp olive oil
1/8 tsp of Mrs Dash original spice blend
1/8 tsp of freshly ground black pepper
Combine all ingredients (except cooking spray) in a lg.bowl or dish; toss gently to coat.
Place asparagus on a foil-lined baking sheets (aka: cookie sheets) coated w/cooking spray. Broil 3 minutes or until desired degree of doness. (serv. sz.: 1/4 of a pound of asparagus)
FYI: Contrary to popular belief, thick stalks of asparagus are more tender than pencil thin spears.
