Pomegranate Champagne Punch

Only 6 ingredients and 7 grams of carbs for this amazing pomegranate champagne punch.

Pomegranate Champagne Punch
Ingredients
  • 2 cups champagne**

  • 1 cup pomegranate juice

  • 1 cup seltzer

  • 1/2 cup citrus vodka**

  • Lemon twists, for garnish

  • **For a nonalcoholic version, combine 2 1/2 cups seltzer and 2 cups pomegranate juice.

Directions
  1. Combine champagne, pomegranate juice, seltzer and vodka in a large bowl or pitcher. Serve over ice with a twist of lemon.

i found some low carb margaritias. very good. i don't drink much at all but it was nice to toast the new year with a nice drink. seems like it was only a couple of carbs per drink.

Wouldn't even dream of it. Sounds great but the pom juice and the vodka are WAY too high in sugars.

One can always use "light" pomegranate or cranberry juice. I'm fairly certain the carbs would be lower. I'd like to try it this New Years's Eve. Thanks for the suggestion.

I don't know about other diabetics, but if I eat pomegranates, my glucose numbers go through the roof. Don't see this recipe as a good option for this type 2…
