Pineapple Chicken Wings

Ingredients
  • total time 1 hr 15 min prep 15 min

  • 2 1/2 lb. split chicken wings, tips removed

  • 2 cans (8 oz. each) pineapple tidbits in juice, undrained

  • 1 cup Original Barbecue Sauce

Directions
  1. HEAT oven to 400°F.

  2. PLACE wings in greased 13x9-inch pan. Bake 30 min.

  3. DRAIN pineapple, reserving 1/4 cup juice. Mix barbecue sauce, pineapple and reserved juice. Add to chicken; stir to evenly coat chicken.

  4. BAKE 30 min. or until chicken is done and sauce is thickened.

I did this with teryaki sauce/glaze instead. It was a nice change for wings, which are one of my favorites.

Another thing, if you put the tips in about 6 cups of water and boil them to about 4 cups, you get an all natural chicken stock that you can use in your recipes.
