Lemon-Garlic Marinated Lamb Chops

Ingredients
  • 1Tbsp olive oil

  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 1/2 tsp lemon juice

  • 1/2 tsp lemon zest

  • 2 Tbsp fresh oregano or 2 tsp dried

  • 6 cloves garlic, about 2 Tbsp

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

  • 8-4oz. lamb loin chops trimmed of all visible fat

Directions
  1. In a small bowl mix together the oil,lemon juice, lemon zest, oregano, garlic salt and pepper.

  2. Whisk well

  3. Place chops in a resealable bag; pour marinade over, coat well

  4. Lay out on counter for about a hour, do not refrigerate.

  5. Remove chops from marinade, toss marinade. Grill or broil or pan broil for about 4 to 5 minutes for med. rare. I prefer well, about 8 to 9 min.

This sounds wonderful although I dont eat lamb; I will try it with chicken or pork instead Thanks for sharing!
