Peanut Butter Fingers

Ingredients
  • Bar:

  • 1 cup flour

  • 1 cup rolled oats

  • 1/2 cup sugar

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1/2 cup margarine softened

  • 1/3 cup peanut butter

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

  • 1 egg

  • Frosting and Glaze:

  • 1 (6oz) pkg. (1 cup) semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar

  • 2 tsp peanut butter

  • 3 to 5 tsp milk

Directions
  1. Heat oven 350 degrees. Grease a 13 X 9 inch pan. Lightly spoon flour into a measuring cup; level off. In a large bowl combine all bar ingredients; blend at low speed until mixture forms a soft dough. Press into the bottom of greased pan.

  2. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Sprinkle immediately with choclate chips. Let stand 5 minutes; spread evenly to cover.

  3. In a small bowl, combine remaining ingredients (glaze), adding enough milk for desired drizzling consistency; drizzle over the choclate frosting. Cool completely. Cut into bars Makes 36 Bars.
