Summer Limeade

Drink up the tartiness of lime with this delicious and simple limeade recipe.

Summer Limeade
Ingredients
  • 6 medium limes

  • 12 teaspoons alternative sugar

  • 2-1/2 cup cold water

Directions
  1. Roll limes on cutting board using pressure from your hand.

  2. Cut limes in half. Remove seeds. Juice limes into non-corrosive metal or glass bowl. Place lime rinds in bowl with juice. Cover with sweetener and set aside.

  3. Boil water and pour into bowl with lime rinds, juice, and sweetener. Steep for 2-5 minutes.

  4. Strain warm liquid. Fill glasses with ice cubes, pour limeade into glasses and stir until ice melts. Add several more ice cubes to glasses and serve
