  • 1/2 cup grilled cut-up mixed fresh vegetables (red peppers, yellow squash, mushrooms)

  • 1 Tbsp. Light Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing

  • 1 whole wheat tortilla (8 inch)

  • 1 2% Milk Swiss Singles

  1. COMBINE vegetables and dressing.

  2. TOP tortilla with 2% Milk Singles and vegetables; roll up.

Cheese has a great deal of salt in it mamobarbie. The salad dressing usually has a lot of salt as well. Can make your own balsamic vinagarette and not add the salt, just vinegar and oil and I add sweetner.

I can't see where the salt is coming from. I am gonna check the products used at the grocery store, it has to come from the dressing, cheese and tortilla, and I know I can find products that don't have that much sodium in them, that is about 1/2 the milligrams allowed for 1day and those on a very low sodium diet, it would kill them. I am gonna check and post again

I'm new to the diabetic world and cooking! Question is I'm sure you grill your on grilled cut-up mixed fresh vegetables (red peppers, yellow squash, mushrooms) correct.

Sargento's swiss cheese slices only have 35 mg of sodium per slice. This is the pkg of 11 thin slices (7oz. pkg). I now substitute swiss cheese for most recipes calling for cheese.
