ZIPPY hummus

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 C CANNED CHICKPEAS OR WHITE BEANS, RINSED AND DRAINED.

  • 1/2 C TAHINI (SESAME SEED PASTE)

  • 1/3 C FRESHLY SQUEEZED LIME JUICE

  • 2 TBSP WATER

  • 1 TSP MINCED GARLIC(1 GARLIC CLOVE)

  • 1 TSP GROUND CUMIN

  • 1 TBSP CHOPPED FRESH MINT

Directions
  1. PLACE CHICKPEAS, TAHINI, LIME JUICE, WATER AND GARLIC IN FOOD PROCESSOR OR BLENDER. process or blend until very smooth, about 4 minutes. TRANSFER TO SMALL BOWL. STIR IN CUMIN. SPRINKLE WITH CHOPPED MINT BEFORE SEVING>

I liked this particulair recipe for this. I am beginning to see where this is used as a dressing in many new fitness meals on TV shows.
