Low Carb Tequila Sunrise

Ingredients
  • 2 cups light orange juice

  • 2 cups light sunsplash Orange drink mix prepared

  • 2 tsp lemon juice

  • 6oz Tequila

  • 1 small lime for garnish

Directions
  1. Mix splenda and water in small saucepan. Bring to a boil and reduce heat. Let simmer until reduced to light syrup.

  2. Add food coloring and allow to cool.

  3. Mix Orange juice,orange drink mix,lemon juice,and tequila in a pitcher.

  4. Fill glass 2/3 full with crushed ice and gently pour the mixture on top.

  5. Garnish with a slice of lime.

  6. ****These are a compromise of flavor and texture. Side by side, ones made with fresh orange juice taste better, but OJ gives you 26g of carbs per glass which is a problem for diabetics.
