2 slices bacon
1 small onion sliced
2 T. sugar
3 T. vinegar
2 T. water
1 t. sesame seed
1/2 t. salt
8 cups torn fresh spinach leaves
1 cup alfalfa sprouts
Microwave (high) bacon in paper towel-covered 2 cup glass dish 2 to 2 1/2 minutes or until bacon is crisp. Set aside bacon; discard all but 1 Tablespoon drippings. Add onion.
Microwave (high) uncovered 1 to 1 1/2 miutes or until onion is softened. Stir in sugar, vinegar, water, sesame seed salt and pepper; set aside.
Combine spinach and sprouts in a large salad bowl; toss lightly. Crumble bacon into salad.
Microwave (high) dressing mixture, uncovered, 60 to75 seconds or until hot; stir to dissolve sugar. pour over greens and toss lightly.
About 6 servings.
