Asparagus with Lemon

Ingredients
  • 2 lbs asparagus, tough ends trimmed

  • 2 tsp olive oil

  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice

Directions
  1. Place asparagus in a steamer basket over boiling water. Cover saucepan and steam 5 minutes or until bright green and tender.

  2. Rinse asparagus under cold water and drain thoroughly. Combine oil and lemon juice in a bowl.

  3. Pour over asparagus. Season with pepper to taste. Serve at room temperature if desired.
