Fish and Mushrooms

Ingredients
  • 1 onion, sliced thin

  • 1 tablespoon oil

  • 1 1/2 cups mushrooms sliced thin

  • 1 pound of fish [ cod, halibut, sole.] cut in 1' slices

  • dash of salt

  • dash of pepper

  • 1 stalk celery , sliced thin

  • 1 tablespoon dry sherry

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

Directions
  1. Perheat skillet and saute onions in oil, add mushrooms and saute about 2 minutes, stirring constantly, until mushrooms wilt. spread half of fillet slices on mushrooms : sprinkle with salt and pepper, add remained fillets: sprinkle these with salt and pepper , add celery, soy sauce , and dry sherry: cook gently, covered for 10 minutes ,and enjoy
