Crispy Baked Chicken

  • 1 Fryer chicken (cut-up) skin removed

  • 2 oz. unsalted butter or margarine

  • 2 cups of cornflakes, crushed

  • 1 teaspoon garlic, onion, celery powder,or other seasonings desired

  1. Wash and wipe chicken pieces.

  2. Melt butter or margarine over low heat; set a side.

  3. Pour cornflakes into a large plastic bag and crush with a rolling pin.

  4. Mix in seasonings.

  5. Brush chicken with butter.

  6. Drop in bag, one or two pieces of chicken at a time.

  7. Shake to evenly coat.

  8. Place in baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
