Veal slices in serving pieces
3/4 inch Banana slices (1/2 cup or more)
1/2 cup of slivered almonds
1 tbs margerine
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 tb. any pancake syrup ( I use sugar free)
A little apricot jam or jelly ( I use sugar free)
Have veal in serving pieces.
Lightly saute 3/4" banana slices and slivered almonds in margarine,
Add 1 capful of Vanilla
tbs of any syrup (even sugar free, which I use) and add a little Apricot Jam.
Do not cook the bananas to long. Keep them a bit hard. ( Only 1 or 2 minutes.)
Remove bananas and almond slivers from the pan, leaving the sauce. In the same pan, add the veal and saute like steak, 5-8 minutes.
A can of strained mushrooms may be added if you wish.
Pour bananas and almonds over the veal when served.
