1 cup uncooked long-grain rice
3/4 cup chopped celery
1/4 cup chopped onion ( you can use minced onion just use less)
6 teaspoons chicken bouillon granules
1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
1/4 teaspoon rubbed sage
4 cups water
In saucepan combine rice, celery, onion, bouillon, and water.
Bring to a boiling; and reduce heat.
Simmer, covered, till rice is tender. About 20 to 30 min.
Remove from heat; stir in remaining ingredients and 1/3 cup water.
Put into 2 quart casserole.
Bake covered at 350 degrees till heated through, about 20 min.
(I like to pour the chicken cacciatore tomatoey mixture over rice.
