Rice Dressing

Ingredients
  • 1 cup uncooked long-grain rice

  • 3/4 cup chopped celery

  • 1/4 cup chopped onion ( you can use minced onion just use less)

  • 6 teaspoons chicken bouillon granules

  • 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning

  • 1/4 teaspoon rubbed sage

  • Dash pepper

  • 4 cups water

Directions
  1. In saucepan combine rice, celery, onion, bouillon, and water.

  2. Bring to a boiling; and reduce heat.

  3. Simmer, covered, till rice is tender. About 20 to 30 min.

  4. Remove from heat; stir in remaining ingredients and 1/3 cup water.

  5. Put into 2 quart casserole.

  6. Bake covered at 350 degrees till heated through, about 20 min.

  7. (I like to pour the chicken cacciatore tomatoey mixture over rice.
