Grilled Salmon w/ Seasoned Rice

Ingredients
  • 3 Cups Water

  • 3 Cups Minute Rice - Premium long grain rice or Brown Rice

  • 2 tsps Ground Savory

  • 2 tsps Ground Oregano

  • 2 tsps Dried Parsley

  • 1 tsp Smoked Paprika

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp pepper

  • 6 3 oz Salmon Fillets

  • 2 lemons

  • 2 tsps dried fennel

  • 2 tsps lemon pepper

  • 2 tsps smoked paprika

  • 2 tsps marjoram

  • 2 tsps dried basil

  • 1 cloves garlic minced

  • 1 tsps salt

  • 1 tsp pepper

  • 3 oz Olive Oil

Directions
  1. Fill saucepan with 3 cups of water.

  2. Turn burner onto med. high heat.

  3. Add all seasonings listed above Salmon Fillets and let water come to a boil.

  4. Add in 3 cups of rice. Let cook on med. heat for 5 minutes stirring several times. Turn off heat and cover and let set.

  5. Place skillet on burner and turn on med. heat for 2 minutes add olive oil

  6. Add garlic into skillet

  7. In bowl mix all ingredients noted under Salmon Fillets except for lemons

  8. Sprinkle generously and rub into meaty side of fillet.

  9. Cut three slices thinly from middle of each lemon and save rest to the side

  10. Place Fillets into skillet skin side down and using end pieces of lemon squeeze juices out over the six fillets.

  11. Let cook for 4 minutes then turn meat side down onto skillet and rejuice from end pieces of lemon.

  12. Let Cook 5 minuts or until mead is cooked to a light pink in color

  13. Pour 1/2 cup of rice onto plate and then place one fillet on top of rice

  14. Top with lemon slice and serve
