8-10 SLICES OF WHOLE WHEAT OR MULTI GRAIN BREAD.
3 EGGS (BEATEN)
1 CUP OF PARMESAN GRATED CHEESE
1 CUP OF SAUTEED WHITE ONIONS
7-8 CLOVES OF FRESH GARLIC OR 3 TABLESPOONS OF CHOPPED GARLIC
1 TABLESPOON OF PEPPER
1 LB. OF GROUND CHOP MEAT
1 LB. OF GROUND VEAL
1 LB OF GROUND CHOPPED PORK
1 PACKAGE OF FRESH ITALIAN FLAT PARSLEY-CHOPPED AS FINELY AS YOU CAN
Take the bread (8-10 slices) and soak it in water for 5 minutes. I used Poland Springs- 2 ½ bottles.
Drain the water from the bread and squeeze out as much of water as you can.
Add the 3 eggs , pepper, parsley, garlic and parmesian cheese to the bread
Thoroughly mix together for 10-15 minutes-DO NOT ADD THE MEAT UNTIL MIXED!
Then add the beef and pork ground mixture.
Mix thoroughly with ingredients already mixed
Make your meatballs about 1 ¼ to 1 ½ inch in diameter.
Fry, using Extra Virgin Olive Oil, until brown on all sides.
Make your own sauce and put the meatballs in the sauce for one hour to slowly simmer.
