Federico’s Cape Cod Shake-N-Baked Apples

Ingredients
  • ~4-6 Baking Apples (peeled and cored, then sliced)

  • Optional: Apples peeled & cored, left whole upright in baking dish

  • ½ cup Splenda sweetener

  • Optional: brown sugar baking Splenda

  • ½ cup Crystal Light Apple flavor drink mix

  • 1cup Kashi date & nut cereal (any variety)

  • ½ cup Craisins (dried cranberries)

  • ½ stick Margarine

  • 1 Tbsp Ground cinnamon

  • 1 Tbsp Allspice

Directions
  1. In plastic bag, add Splenda, cinnamon, & allspice, Add either whole apples or slices, shake to coat thoroughly.

  2. In 13x9 baking dish, either place apples upright or lay out slices.

  3. Cover apples or slices with mixture of cereal & Craisins.

  4. Add apple-flavored juice, cut margarine into pieces and distribute across baking dish. Bake @ 350 for ~ 1 hour to bake apples.
