Irene's Burritos

  • 1 lb. 7 or 10% ground beef*

  • 1 med or large onion, chopped

  • 2-3 tsp chopped garlic

  • 1 pkg Burrito Seasoning mix**

  • 1 cup water

  • 1 15-16 oz can refried beans

  • 8 oz shredded cheese***

  • 1 dozen large flour tortillas

  1. Brown meat in a large skillet. About half way through, add onion and garlic. After meat is cooked, add seasoning mix and water, bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 5-10 minutes or until liquid is absorbed, stirring occasionally.

  2. Add beans and cheese, mix in until heated thru and cheese is melted. Spoon onto burritos and roll up. Enjoy. Leftovers freeze well.

  3. *If you use a fattier meat, you will need to drain off the excess fat.

  4. **Or Taco Seasoning mix for a little spicier flavor.

  5. *** mild or medium cheddar, co-jack, pepper jack or jack cheese

  6. Sometimes I will even add a 15-16 oz can of chopped tomatoes when I add the seasoning mix.

  7. I've even been thinking of adding a 4oz can of chopped jalapenos.

Like i said not enough information i would love to get your recipes but i don't because i need to have the info facts without them i could really be sunk…you would get more if you would add more!
