Cinnamon Bananas

  • 10 Large Chiquita Bananas (any banana is fine)

  • Splenda packets or granulated (use as much as you need depending on your sweet tooth!)

  • 5 tablespoons of ground cinnamon

  • 1 tablespoon butter or margarine

  • 4 cups water

  1. Heat a skillet on high with butter or margarine until melted

  2. Lower heat to medium low so the butter wont burn and place bananas in the skillet. If they don't all fit at the same time its ok just repeat this same process with the rest of bananas.

  3. Add the water one cup at a time. Make sure that the water covers the bananas and led it boil. Cover the bananas until they are cooked. Dont let them dry let them be moist.

  4. Once they are boiling and mushy sprinkle splenda and cinnamon over the top and let them sit in the water for about 3 minute so the flavors blend in.

  5. Serve them while hot. Enjoy!

I discoverd that this is not only a nutritous snack put simple and easy without so much fuss!!! And not only for diabetics Ive done it for my whole family and even won a first prize for back in Guatemala were I used to live and my picture came out in the paper. It was fun! So I hope everyone enjoys it and also your friends and family!!
